The National Account Manager, Agency Partnerships is responsible for managing the relationship with a portfolio of Agency Partners to maximise Qantas’ market share, revenue and cost of sale targets. The National Account Manager will play an active role in the planning and execution of the leisure/retail, corporate and online account strategy within Agency Partnerships, where cultivating strong relationships, both internal and external, identifying and executing on incremental revenue opportunities, and delivering end to end account management is critical.
You will have:
  • Experience working in the leisure/retail, corporate and online travel industry;
  • Strategic selling, account management and business planning skills developed in a competitive sales environment;
  • Experience in supporting development and implementation of a key customer relationship plan;
  • Strong commercial orientation and high level of business acumen;
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results within a complex business environment with varying stakeholder needs and expectations;
  • Highly developed negotiation, communication, organisational, and leadership skills at senior levels, both internally and externally;
  • Exceptional presentation skills;
  • Experience in sales strategy development and implementation;
  • Demonstrated ability to offer unique perspectives on business issues, analyse data and information, and create customised solutions for customers;
  • High level of IT literacy, including a good working knowledge of reporting, CRM systems would be desirable.
