IPERC is looking for experienced educators to join our Ready Global Academy team. The successful candidate will be passionate about international education and eager to help students to prosper.
Ready Global Academy instructors will teach Mathematics to international high school students, so candidates are required to have experience teaching high school students.
Job Responsibilities
· Prepare and deliver a daily lesson plan
· Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
· Provide a variety of learning materials for use in educational activities (not a must)
· Observe and evaluate student performance and development
· Assign and grade class work, assignments, and tests
· Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development by providing feedback after every session.
Flexible Working Hours: (non-fixed, subject to the student's and the teacher's schedule)
Monday to Friday, mainly from 11:30 AM-11:30PM New Zealand time;
We also have weekend sessions if you are happy to do:)
Job Requirements:
· Previous Mathematics teaching experience in a high school setting (Required)
· Bachelor's degree (Required)
· Certification or licensure in Mathematics (Required)
· Familiar with junior / senior high school education system
· Strong communication skills
· Problem-solver
· Professional in appearance and demeanor
· Ability to multi-task
· High energy level
· Reliability and Flexibility
Nice to Have:
· Experience working with international students
· Experience teaching online
· Experience teaching AP courses
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: From $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 30 per week
