Location: Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital
Service/Department: Facilities & Operational Support Services
Contract: 2 positions available, 80 hours per fortnight, Rotating roster over 7 days/week

About the role:
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Orderlies to join our team at Te Matau a Māui Hawke’s Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital. As an Orderly, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our hospital by assisting with patient transport, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and providing essential support to our healthcare staff. This role is vital in maintaining the high standard of care we provide to our patients. We are committed to creating a workplace that reflects the diversity of our community. Skills and experience:
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of people.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks that require manual handling.
  • A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • A reliable and punctual work ethic, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
