Looking for a skilled and passionate Physiotherapist to join the Pain Management Team based out of one of our South Auckland clinics.
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a Pain Management Service, supporting a diverse community and population where no 2 days are the same…then look no further! Habit Health is looking for their next star Physiotherapist to work with clients on the ACC Pain Management contract. This is the opportunity to build your skill set in the field of pain management and rehabilitation, delivering novel and evidence- based interdisciplinary pain management programs to help improve the quality of life for those experiencing chronic pain. This involves working with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapy, psychology, dietician, pain specialist, and much more. You will receive all the clinical support needed to ensure you succeed in this role. This role has a strong focus on community-based work, using our fleet of pool cars, you will be primarily working across the Auckland region supporting clients in their own homes, gyms, pools and local community…taking the rehab to where the client needs it most.

Main responsibilities:
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy approaches to facilitate patients' recovery and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Liaise and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Create patient reports on patient abilities, goals and best practice intervention
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to actively participate in the rehabilitation process.
- Utilise diary management software
- Annual budget set aside for professional development/study
- Reimbursement of professional registration / APC fees (may be pro-rated for part-times hours)

- Must have NZ Physio registration and current APC
- 2+ years’ experience, including some pain management experience
- Full NZ Driver’s license for community rehabilitation

- As an accredited employer, we will assist in the AEWV process
- Support in gaining registration with the NZ Physiotherapy Board
- Assistance in helping you settle into New Zealand
- Contribution towards relocation costs
