Picker / Packer Day Shift Summer Shifts

Hellers Ltd is a leading New Zealand manufacturer and distributor of bacon, ham and smallgoods. Our award winning quality brands enjoy significant and growing customer and consumer recognition in many market segments. We are now looking for our summer picking packing staff starting end of October early November thru to end of January to help distribution in our high season from our Wiri Warehouse.

The role requires strength – being able to lift cartons up to 25kg as orders are picked
You need to be able to work at a fast pace for the duration of the shift – physical fitness is required
You will be working in a chilled environment – 4 degrees
It would be an advantage if you have had experience using an RF scanner or computerised scales
You have good literacy skills and an eye for detail to ensure correct order picking
Must be physical fit

Starting dates from 22nd October and FIXED TERM UNTIL end January 2025

DAY SHIFT 7.30am until finish Monday to Friday

$24.05 per hour and overtime after 45 Hours

Must be able to work

Christmas and New Year Weeks

Due to being our busy season all pickers packers need to be able to work

Monday 23rd Tuesday 24th December 2024

Friday 27th and Saturday 28th December 2024

Monday 30th Tuesday 31st December 2024

Friday 3rd Saturday 4th January 2025

Reliable transport is a must as the hours and location do not enable bus transport.
