Te Haeata/The Opportunity
We are seeking talented regulatory policy specialists to provide parental leave cover leading the Ministry's Anti Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) programme and policy analysis, development, and advice.
This is a fast-paced work environment that would suit experienced self-starters with great relationship management skills. These roles require a strong policy skill set, preferably with an emphasis on regulatory policy. A knowledge of AML/CFT is desirable, but not necessary.

Te āhuatunga a te tūranga / About the role
The Advisor (Lvl 2) will work alongside the Principal and Senior to deliver the programme of work. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in:

• analysing regulatory issues and providing clear advice
• drafting quality ministerial briefings and Cabinet papers
• working with partners on drafting legislation and regulations

Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience
The successful candidates will have a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience. A national security clearance is not essential but may be of value.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $83,562 to $107,862 based on skills and experience.
