As the Principal Adviser, Caulerpa Long Term Management, you will contribute to initiatives to reduce the spread and impact of exotic caulerpa seaweeds that are presenting a material threat to our marine environment in the upper North Island.
Your key priorities which will contribute to the delivery of a long-term management programme for exotic Caulerpa will be:
- Supporting the Programme manager and Director in setting the strategic direction and priorities of the Caulerpa Long Term Management Programme by providing thought leadership, analysis and advice.
- Supporting the alignment of activities across MPI and between the biosecurity system and other systems, e.g. biodiversity and environmental management.
