Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role
You will be part of a newly shaped team, working alongside members of the Strategy & Performance team to provide support and advice to senior leaders on achieving the organisations strategic direction and monitoring its performance. This role will require you:
- To develop and manage an integrated performance and reporting framework to support the organisation to continually lift efficiency and effectiveness
- Advise our senior leaders on significant performance or planning risks and issues and lead the development of strategies to address them
- Lead the compilation of the annual report and ensure it optimally reflects the impact the Treasury has made in working towards our long-term ambition and medium-term outcomes

The specific experience, skills, and qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:
- Proven experience in developing performance frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in implementing performance and planning frameworks and tools for a complex organisation
- An understanding Treasury's role in the wider public public sector
- Excellent communication and influencing skills including an ability to explain complex problems, develop succinct and accurate reports, deliver verbal presentations and to lead discussions with senior leadership
- The ability to think independently and to drive outcomes
