The New Zealand government uses regulation to protect communities from harm, and to improve outcomes for its people. Our job is to help improve the overall quality of regulation – and the way it is implemented – by working across the public service with experts in their fields.
About the Role
Reporting into the Head of Ministerial Services, this pivotal role involves overseeing key initiatives across the wider Ministry.
This role will lead strategic planning, reporting, monitoring, and performance management initiatives across the Ministry while providing high-level advice and expertise to enhance its effectiveness, drive performance improvement, and ensure alignment with overall strategic goals. In supporting the senior leadership team, you will assist in the monitoring and reporting of performance data and trends. You will also lead the compilation of the Ministry’s accountability documents including the Annual Report and Strategic Intentions.
