As a Produce Assistant you will make sure that a sufficient quantity of fresh produce is available and the department is presented beautifully at all times.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Produce Assistant you will make sure that a sufficient quantity of fresh produce is available and the department is presented beautifully at all times.
A day in the life of a Produce Assistant involves
- Assisting in the loading and unloading of produce truck deliveries and moving them to the chilled storeroom.
- Ensuring that the produce bins and display shelves are full, organised and appealing.
- Cutting and packing of produce as required.
- Keeping the department clean and well maintained.
- Assisting customers with their queries and helping them find what they need.
ABOUT YOU
To succeed in the role, you will have the following attributes:
- A strong team player, willing to offer support to others to ensure the success of team goals
- Customer orientated with a willingness to go that extra mile for our customers
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively
- Strong ‘can-do’ ability, combined with a positive interpersonal approach to ensure the job gets done
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Physically fit and able to do constant lifting.
