Quality Improvement Manager

In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of our c GMP improvement programme, acting as a coach and change facilitator. You will mentor and train our people on best practices, always having a quality mindset, constantly being audit-ready, and consulting throughout Douglas to increase the quality culture.
Key activities include training technical and operational team members on how to resolve audit findings and write effective CAPAs, identify trends and support a companywide training programme to lift the quality culture and be the trainer for specific technical aspects.
You will collaborate closely with various teams to provide training to technical and operational team members to address c GMP audit findings and write effective CAPAs. You'll have the opportunity to analyse trends, identify areas for improvement, and support the development of company-wide initiatives that uplift our quality standards and practices.
Collaboration is key. You will report to and work closely with our Head of Quality Assurance. You will also partner with general managers and department heads across our business. You'll create a cohesive approach to quality and compliance that resonates throughout Douglas.
You will be:
- An experienced FACILITATOR with a passion for training and lifting the capability of others to achieve performance improvement.
- A PHARMACEUTICAL QUALITY INDUSTRY expert - you have worked in the pharmaceutical space and understand a c GMP environment inside and out. Our industry is specific and significant experience is required to lead our quality improvement programme.
- A CHANGE professional - who is comfortable guiding others through change, confident to be able to suggest changes and guide implementation. You will be able to assess compliance risk and advise on industry changes.
- An expert COLLABORATOR - you excel at building relationships and fostering collaboration across teams. Your coaching skills enable you to inspire and elevate others, and you can make a tangible impact.
