Quality Inspection Operator

About the Role
Utilizing a finishing machine, you will be responsible for processing and quality inspecting printed labels in order to achieve targets and timeframes for our customers. You will be required to accommodate a flexible schedule, covering rotating shifts across different time frames. You will join an established team who are the success behind print professionals. Duties include:
  • Machine setup (loading print rolls, feeding through the machine & setting up of the blades & slicers)
  • Record data on basic machine operations statistics using a PC computer.
  • Monitor & maintain the finishing machine with a strong safety focus.
  • Dedication to exceptional customer service
  • Quality standard practices & maintaining quality assurance.
About You (criteria)
  • Mechanically aptitude (preferred)
  • Experience working in manufacturing industry, especially with labels (preferred but not essential as on the job training is provided)
  • Certificate II qualification in Printing or similar field (preferred but not essential)
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to discern all colors (no color vision concerns).
  • Physically able to perform manual handling tasks.
  • Does not suffer from motion sickness.
  • Eligible for New Zealand working rights.
