Quantity Surveyor position

The ideal candidate should have
- Bachelor’s degree qualification in Quantity surveying or 5 years Quantity Surveyor working experience equivenat
- Relating working experience is referable
- Familiar with Cost X, ability to read and understand construction plans.
- Have excellent communication skills & attention to details.
- NZ full driving license
- Pre-contract: sourcing and maintaining subcontractors, quotation based on drawings, estimating, preparing SOP & SOQ and contracts
- Post-contract: project procurement, project cost tracking and variation handling; project specification (SOM) implementation
- Work closely with construction management team on site feasibility
- Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use
- Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations
- Project risk management and Prepare replacement cost assessment for insurance purpose
- Preparation of tender, tender analysis and reporting
- Maintaining merchant account
- Site travel when necessary
- Perform any other task(s) as assigned
Wage: $32 per hour
Hours of work: 40 hours or above per week
Shifted from Monday to Saturday
