The Role
We are seeking experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our dynamic team. In this senior-level role, you will report directly to the Commercial Lead and take charge of the commercial management of key projects. Your extensive knowledge of construction practices, commercial contract law, and project risk management in the New Zealand market will be vital to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the commercial aspects of project packages.
  • Partner with the Commercial Lead to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage subcontract agreements for complex project packages.
  • Assess, approve, and manage payment claims and variations.
  • Maintain strict adherence to contractual terms and proactively manage project risks.
Required Experience:
  • Extensive experience with local construction methods and practices.
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • At least 5-7 years of post-graduate experience on large-scale vertical projects upwards of $50 million
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, especially with senior management.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience managing commercial projects.
  • A proactive, professional attitude with strong leadership qualities.
