MHSOA provides a comprehensive service to people over the age of 65 years who are experiencing mental health difficulties and/or cognitive change.
About Us
We now have a vacancy for a motivated, registered nurse to join our cohesive multidisciplinary team serving the culturally diverse population of Auckland’s North Shore and Rodney areas, based at our Karaka Street office, Takapuna.
Our approach is collaborative with a strong client focus, and we provide compassionate, evidence based mental health care in partnership with tangata whai i te ora and their whanau/carers. We also provide continued training and development opportunities.
About the Role and about You
This position would suit a mental health nurse with the experience and skills to work with older people, often with complex needs, and provides the opportunity to increase and enhance clinical skills within an established and supportive work environment.
You will need to have:

• Current practising certificate (with scope to work in Mental Health)
• Full, clean driver's licence
• Preferably at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in mental health
