Job Description
Wellington Oral Surgery is currently on the lookout for a part-time Registered Nurse to assist our team in Nelson. This is a fixed term position to cover maternity leave.
As a Registered Nurse, you will support our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons to perform their role by assisting them during patient appointments, surgeries and monitoring patients' post-surgery.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse to enter the dental industry!
The hours for the role are below:
- Wednesdays: 8.00am - 5.00pm
- Alternative Friday's: 8.00am - 5.00pm
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, preferably with theatre experience.
- Be passionate, committed, and willing to learn.
- Be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to assist in surgical duties and familiarity with scrubbing & circulating roles in theatre would be great.
- A positive attitude and team-orientated approach.
- Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
- Flexibility in the role, with the occasional need to help in other areas of the practice.
