8 hour shift or 10 hour shift

Located within Tōtara Haumaru campus, ESC has four operating theatres, 12 PACU beds, 5-day stay chairs and 6 pre-admission rooms.
Tōtara Haumaru is a new state-of-the-art facility is being built on our North Shore Hospital campus - overlooking the incredible, volcanically formed Lake Pupuke - just a stone's throw away from our world-famous Waitematā Harbour and some of the region's most spectacular beaches. Tōtara Haumaru is due to open in 2024 and will provide up to eight extra operating theatres, four new endoscopy suites and up to 150 new beds – helping us meet the needs of our vibrant, fast-growing and culturally diverse population of over 643,000 people.
The successful candidates would provide patient postoperative care for surgical patients in Orthopedics, Gynaecology, Urology, ORL, General Surgery, and Plastics. It is essential for this role to have a minimum two years NZ PACU experience or high dependency unit experience, excellent communication skills, current APC, and being able to manage a busy workload.
In return, we can offer excellent working hours currently rostered Monday-Friday from 07:00-20:30.
