Are you a medical professional looking to work in the field of rehabilitation medicine?
We're looking for medical staff at all different levels of their career progression, from registrars to rehabilitation physicians for our Wellington Intensive site in Kenepuru.
Utilise your expertise and support a leading specialist rehabilitation service for adults with traumatic brain injury and polytrauma, and others needing neurorehabilitation. ABI Rehabilitation has a strong interdisciplinary rehabilitation focus on supporting people with traumatic and acquired brain injury, stroke, and other neurologic disorders.
Registrars:
We have a vacancy for a registrar (PGY2 or greater) interested in gaining experience and expertise in neurological rehabilitation, or a registrar intending to train as a specialist in rehabilitation medicine. You will work alongside our rehabilitation medicine physician, providing a high standard of specialist rehabilitation care to our clients.
Rehabilitation Physicians:
ABI Rehabilitation New Zealand Ltd is also seeking a specialist in rehabilitation medicine to join our Wellington services.
We have positions situated across both inpatient and Community Services in Wellington.
You will be fully qualified and registered in New Zealand as a specialist in rehabilitation medicine with a current annual practicing certificate or be in the last year of training and eligible to work as a medical officer of a special scale until full qualification.
About us:
ABI Rehabilitation New Zealand is a specialist rehabilitation service for adults with traumatic brain injury and stroke. This position is situated in our Wellington service (based alongside Kenepuru Hospital in Porirua) where we run a 25-bed inpatient unit and busy outpatient and community rehabilitation services. We manage the physical, psychological, social and cognitive consequences of traumatic and acquired brain injury, polytrauma, stroke, and other neurologic disorders.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing, dynamic organization and with specialist interdisciplinary teams. We are passionate about quality, training, integrity and supporting the people who work here. But most of all, we are passionate about innovation and delivering world-class neurorehabilitation to the clients referred by ACC or the Mo H.
As a permanent employee, we offer you excellent opportunities for professional development and career advancement, and you will have access to exclusive discounts from selected retailers such as PB Tech, Pita Pit, Place Makers, Repco, Torpedo7, Tower Insurance and others.
If you feel you share this vision and you have the skills to contribute, we would love to hear from you!
