About the role

Support and guide students through our Schools Pathway Programmes. These programmes provide year 11 to 13 students with a broad range of skills to be set up for a career in the agriculture industry.
This role is full time for 40 hours per week and is fixed-term until the end of 2025. Schools are based in the Tararua and Manawatu regions.
In this role you would:

• Deliver quality Schools Pathway Programmes by providing students with consistent, dynamic, and valuable learning experiences.
• Provide students with the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to be set up for a career pathway in the agriculture industry.
• Create a safe learning environment for all students, by following safe work practices and procedures.
• Ensure all student results, reviews, and evaluations are completed promptly.
• Manage relationships with farmers, schools, and other key stakeholders.

About you
We are looking for someone with:

• Theoretical knowledge and practical experience in agriculture/farming/the primary industries.
• Experience in teaching and tutoring young people, with proven ability to effectively deliver interesting informative programmes.
• Experience in customer service and stakeholder management, with proven ability to build, maintain and proactively manage relationships.
• A good track record of following safe work practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
