Job Description:
As a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS), you will be responsible for overseeing traffic management operations on various roadwork sites, ensuring safety and compliance with all relevant regulations. This temporary position requires a candidate with Cat AB qualifications to manage complex traffic scenarios efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and monitor traffic management plans.
- Supervise and manage traffic control personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure traffic management practices are followed.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation related to traffic management activities.
- Respond to and manage any traffic-related incidents or emergencies.
- Current and valid STMS qualification with Cat AB.
- Proven experience in traffic management on roadwork sites.
- Strong understanding of traffic management regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proficient in the use of traffic management planning software and tools.
- Class 1 licence, Class 2 would be preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
