Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this position
Within the SMS Help and BA team, the SMS Technical Support Analyst directly support our kaimahi and provide expertise on our Student Management System, alongside other linked tools such as the Student Reporting database and various daily processes.
You will join a small but efficient community of developers, BAs and testers, network specialists, and helpdesk resources.
On a day-to-day basis you can look forward to analysing kaimahi's tickets, providing practical answers and maintaining our student information system, execute and support regular (i.e. daily, weekly, monthly, annually) business processes. Complex queries may also lead to root cause analysis or escalation to more senior members of the team.

You'll bring a strong attention to details, an appetite for problem solving, and an eagerness to learn our tools and methods. A previous experience in IT, in a role where you supported end-users is preferable– we would also consider graduate testers with the right attitude and skillset. A passion for learning and continuous self-improvement and sharing knowledge and experience with others.
The role may imply supporting our testing team as well. It will also be the perfect opportunity to develop a test automation strategy, with help and support from your teammates.
We also work very closely with the other parts of our organisation, and BAs and testers quickly become recognised subject matter experts, with great career development opportunities.
