Job Description
Te kaupapa o te tūranga – About the role
As a Stockroom Team Member, you'll be the driving force behind ensuring our stock is organized and ready for sale. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a tidy and efficient stockroom will be key to our success.
Candidates with a forklift license are preferred as this is a requirement of the role (we can send team members on a training course to gain a forklift endorsement).
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Ensuring all stock received is processed appropriately and within the appropriate guidelines.
- Ensure the stockroom area is swept and maintained.
- Manage palettes and stock being delivered appropriately using a forklift.
- Processing recycling and other waste correctly.
- Adhere to health and safety standards.
- Understand the importance of positive team dynamics.
This is a fixed term full time role ending on 31st January 2025. The hours of work are:
- Monday - 9am-5:30pm
- Tuesday - 9am-5:30pm
- Wednesday - 9am-5:30pm
- Thursday - 9am-5:30pm
- Friday- 9am-5:30pm
Qualifications
He kōrero mōu ake – About you
To excel in this role, you ideally have:
- Right to work in New Zealand
- Interest in stockroom coordination
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Physical capability to handle heavy lifting, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
