Job Description
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Admissions Team Leader (internally known as Admissions Team Leader) to join our vibrant Admissions team within Student Services. Primarily based in the City Campus, this will be a wonderful opportunity to champion and contribute to the activation of Manaakitanga, Whanaungatanga and Kaitiakitanga within the student services function, supporting students through the application process, in collaboration with services partners and with responsibility for strategic portfolios. Whilst in the role you will be responsible for leading a team of Admission Advisors and/or Specialists through the Admissions cycle. The role will require for you to meet University strategic objectives and support the achievement of KPIs.
The salary range for this role is $80,900 - $86,600 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. The role is Full-Time 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent contract.

Our ideal Student Admissions Team Leader will have:
- Demonstrated experience leading a team in a high volume, high intensity environment.
- Excellent interpersonal effectiveness through clear and constructive communication skills and behaviours that influence others and inspire co-operation and achievement.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in team building.
- Be an advocate for change and innovation to ensure we’re delivering a service that is faster, streamlined and transparent for our service partners.
- You will be flexible and able to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment.
- A confident decision maker with a keen eye for detail.
- A positive team player.
