What you'll be doing | He aha tāu e mahi ana
As the face of the organisation., you will be working alongside our people providing financial support and connect whanau to a wide range of services and other assistance as required.
The whānau we serve come from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. You will create a safe environment for people to explore options and determine what's most important to them. You will empower whānau to take the lead in developing and achieving their goals.
You will build strong relationships and work collaboratively with others to enhance outcomes for our people. You will need to develop and maintain relationships with your peers and partner agencies to give and receive support when needed.
You will be exceptionally organised, with sound decision making and problem-solving skills. In addition to this, you will bring a high level of personal integrity and initiative and take ownership and responsibility to follow through and deliver for the people in our community.

Be open: be fully present and listen intently without judgement to what is being said, empathise with whānau and their experiences, thoughts, and feelings.
You need to be able to work at pace and make good decisions, often in isolation.
You need to have flexibility to travel across the region and work different locations. This will require you to have a full NZ drivers' licence.
You need to also be comfortable working in a fast paced, pressured environment and enjoy navigating through unexpected challenges.
You need to have strong facilitation, planning and organisational skills.
Strong relationship and negotiation skills are desired and the ability to motivate and empower others to overcome barriers in a non-judgmental way.

Salary range: $60,707.00 - $72,990.00
