As a Study Link Officer you have an important role to play. You will engage and support a range of people with various backgrounds, ages and situations providing them with assistance, tools, and support to access our services.
Every action you take impacts New Zealanders lives. Our team is responsible for delivering an end-to-end service that incorporates the assessment, processing and review of client information and applications.
You will need to be able to show empathy and understanding to help clients navigate and resolve often complex situations and queries. Our aim is to ensure that every client feels respected, listened to, and understood.
The whānau we serve come from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. You will create a safe environment for people to explore options and determine what's most important to them. You will empower whānau to take the lead in developing and achieving their goals.
You will build strong relationships and work collaboratively with others to enhance outcomes for our people. You will need to develop and maintain relationships with your peers and partner agencies to give and receive support when needed.
You will be exceptionally organised, with sound decision making and problem-solving skills. In addition to this, you will bring a high level of personal integrity and initiative and take ownership and responsibility to follow through and deliver for the people in our community.

Key Recruitment information and dates:
Closing date: Sunday 20 October 2024.
If you are short-listed, you'll be invited to attend a face-to-face panel interview. Candidates must be able to provide two work references (your current and previous employer).
Candidates must hold NZ Citizenship or a Permanent Resident visa at time of application.
Please note - this position requires travel across the Taranaki Region, therefore a full driver's licence is essential.

Salary range: $60,707.00 - $72,990.00
