Supply Chain Specialist (Supplier Engagement)

What you'll be doing:

Build & Maintain Relationships:
Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with suppliers and service providers while adeptly navigating their expectations and challenges. -
Communicate & Negotiate:
Use your exceptional communication and negotiating skills to secure beneficial terms, promote mutual advantages, and ensure smooth interactions with all stakeholders. -
Contract Management:
Oversee contract management processes, ensuring compliance and addressing any issues to maintain high standards. -
Performance Tracking & Improvement:
Manage supplier onboarding, track performance, and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and quality. -
Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve issues related to supplier performance or logistics with a proactive approach. -
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Utilize your analytical skills to analyze data, make informed decisions, and leverage SQL for insightful reporting. -
EDI Expertise:
Apply your technical knowledge of EDI standards such as EDIFACT and XML, and handle various document types for POs, invoices, and ASNs. -
Integration Knowledge:
Understand APIs and middleware for seamless data integration between systems and resolve any EDI-related issues with ease
- Proven experience in building and managing supplier relationships
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Expertise in contract management and compliance
- Proficiency in data analysis, particularly using SQL
- Technical knowledge of EDI standards and document types
- Familiarity with APIs and middleware for data integration
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on supplier performance and logistics
