Step into a 12-month fixed term full-time position as a Test Manager at our Wellington-based National Office. In this role, you'll oversee the testing process for your assigned projects, ensuring that all changes are well planned, efficiently executed, and thoroughly tested. You'll be responsible for coordinating test preparation and execution across various projects, ensuring that production-ready code meets the required standards. You'll manage resources effectively, including your team, business stakeholders, and vendors, while building strong relationships with both internal and external groups. Your leadership will be key to achieving successful outcomes that meet the diverse needs of our organisation, ensuring quality IT deliveries and enhancing the overall value of our team.

To be successful with you application you will have:
- Robust understanding of and experience with managing all facets of the testing process
- Experience working in public sector is ideal, along with and a thorough understanding of different development methodologies
- Experience in dealing with challenging projects that require critical outcomes under time pressure
- Strong skills managing resource and engaging with a wide range of people
- The ability to identify risk and to implement the best solution to address risks
The midpoint of the salary range is $117,596 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $99,957 - $141,116 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
