  • This is a full-time, permanent position from Monday to Friday
Job Description
Come join our amazing team in Hamilton.
  • Assisting with the security of supply through routine maintenance and inspection of cathodic protection equipment and facilities on the network.
  • Assisting with the construction and expansion of cathodic protection equipment on the network, primarily via a measure and value contract as the contract manager’s representative.
  • Liaising with local authorities and utilities.
  • Assisting with repairs, maintenance and testing cathodic protection equipment installed on the network.
  • Promoting pipeline safety initiatives and strategies.
  • Documenting and reporting on incident reports, maintenance, and construction activities.
  • Contributing to new development and initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Preferred current and relevant New Zealand Gas Industry Certificate of Competence to carry out cathodic protection work on the network.
  • Working towards a minimum of Level 3 National Certificate in Cathodic Protection, or a relevant equivalent New Zealand Gas Industry qualification.
