Palmerston North Shop - Permanent Part- Time (20 hours per week).
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team. As a Van Driver/Storeperson, you'll manage weekly collections, deliveries, and stock and support daily store operations, staff supervision, and customer service. Join us to make a real impact on our operations and customer experience!
In this role you will:
Collect all donated goods and deliver them to shops, adhering to the guidelines on quality.
- Provide great customer service.
- Promoting/driving sales.
- Shop presentation/displays.
- Assist with maintenance of stock levels this includes liaising with the shop Manager or Delivery Scheduler, for the timely delivery of stock.
- Check the vehicle you are driving is compliant and road worthy.
- Keeping NZRC informed of any issues promptly.
- Following NZRC heath safety and wellbeing guidelines.
- Assist with work in the shops as required.
- Hold a full, clean New Zealand driver's license.
- Experience working with volunteers.
- Able to assist with social media marketing.
- Experience with driving: a background in driving as a courier.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Are able to mix and work with a wide range of people.
- Self-motivation and a positive and friendly approach.
