Shop Manager
Whangarei

Permanent Full - Time (37.5 hours per week).
About the role – Kōrero mō te tūranga
In this role you will:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the shop, including opening and closing procedures;
- Overseeing the Dargaville Shop, with regular visits to guide and support the local volunteers.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, purchases, and resolving any issues or concerns;
- Coordinating and Training Volunteer Staff;
- Manage cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including balancing cash registers at the end of each shift;
- Train and supervise staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
To be successful you will have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of team;
- Flexibility to work varying shifts;
- Experience/interest in working with volunteers;
- Second hand retail/fashion experience would be an advantage;
- Able to accept and process donations in a timely manner;
- Ensuring all goods are priced with in the Price guidelines;
- Have the ability to train coach others - staff and volunteers;
- Ensuring all goods are priced with in the Price guidelines.
- New Zealand full driver license, is required
