These are permanent full-time roles working for a nationwide recruitment agency – The Success Group, you will be required to work in various sites across New Zealand, withweekly guaranteed hours of at least 30 and a gross pay rate of $29.66 per hour.
In this role you will be part of a successful team, performing all activities associatedwith installation of reinforcing steel:

Your duties are including:

• • Setting out the work area following engineering plans.

• • Using hand and power tools to cut and bend bars or mesh.

• • Trying rebar together with wire, clips or welds to build up cages or sections.

• • Reading and interpreting detailed construction plans.

• • Lifting and positioning sections of scaffolding.

• • Measuring, cutting, bending and fitting welded wire mesh into concrete areas tobe mesh reinforced.

• • Fixing mesh and reinforcing steel into position in formwork for concrete pours.

To be considered for this role you must have the below required skills and experience:

• • 3 years’ experience or more experience as a steel fixer is preferred.

• • Ability to read architectural drawings.

• • MUST be able to pass a pre-employment drug test (these will be requiredrandomly from time-to-time as part of our health and safety compliance test).

• • Full clean driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

• • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

• • Efficient worker with strong work ethics.
