Location: 14 Hartham Place, Porirua
Service: Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) - Porirua
Contract: Permanent, part time 0.5 FTE
Salary: Between $77,087 - $116,390 ( depending on experience )
Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
CAMHS teams provide specialist mental health services for children and adolescents between the ages of birth and 19 years (inclusive) with indicators of significant mental health problems.

Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team
Porirua has the advantage of being the first city away from Wellington, this means that people choose to live and work in this area. The outcome of this is that we have good working relationships with NGO’s. There are several tertiary education providers. Making the work first role an achievable role.
This mental health team is filled with dedicated and skilled clinicians and we create a bright and positive workspace.
Moū – About you
You will be a registered Occupational Therapist with the ability to provide an evidence based supported employment, education and career development approach that reflects and is responsive to the transition needs of young service users and their employment and study pathways. You will have an up to date annual practicing certificate.
Previous knowledge and experience in the workfirst space, would be an advantage, but not a defining factor. Ability to adapt communication styles to different client needs, being results orientated with a commitment to making a difference. A willingness to work within a team and let the team support you.
