Role Overview
The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial tasks, assist in preparing reports, track expenses, and help manage accounts. This role is ideal for a candidate with a basic understanding of accounting principles and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
1. Basic Financial Record-Keeping:
· Maintain accurate financial records, including daily transactions and expenses.
· Support monthly and annual financial reporting.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
· Assist in tracking incoming payments and outgoing invoices.
· Record payments and help manage invoices with suppliers and customers.
3. Inventory and Cost Tracking:
· Monitor basic production costs and help with inventory tracking.
· Assist in monthly inventory counts and reports.
4. Compliance Support:
· Help ensure records align with local tax regulations and requirements.
· Assist in preparing documents for tax filings.
5. Internal Control Assistance:
· Support basic financial checks and internal controls.
· Identify simple process improvements to streamline tasks.
6. **Collaboration with Other Teams**
- Work with other departments to provide financial information when needed.
- Help with organizing and explaining financial details to team members.
Qualifications and Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
· Living in Delta state, Obior (near Agbor and Umunede)
· Skills:
*Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and any accounting software.
*Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Competencies:
· Familiarity with simple accounting principles.
· Ability to work well independently and in a team.
· Clear and basic communication skills.

This role operates primarily in an office setting within our processing facility. Regular working hours apply, with occasional flexibility.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦75,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
