Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Packing plant.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining mechanical systems, equipment, and processes to ensure efficient and reliable operation of the Packing plant.
- Ensure implementation of QMS, EMS, OHSAS, and management systems adopted by DCP-Ibese.
- Prepare PM schedule and implementation.
- Work with maintenance team to accomplish given tasks within the stipulated time.
- Planning and execution of preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities of all Packing Plant equipment’s as per schedules.
- Keep record of all related maintenance activities in SAP and manual registers.
- Do a quality maintenance on Roto packers and loading machines to achieve mean time between failure to + /- 7 days.
- Execute all related maintenance works under safe working condition by following safety procedures and SOP of the organization.
- Spare plan and control as per budgeted value of the organization.
- BSc. / HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a packing plant or similar industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, packaging machinery, and material handling equipment
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
