Job title : Backend Engineer

Location : Lagos,Nigeria
Salary : 25.5m-37m NGN + Bonus per annum
What we are looking for :
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Engineer who can drive the development and delivery of high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a deep understanding of web technologies, and the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team. The team is looking for someone who is not only technically proficient but also demonstrates strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, along with effective communication and collaboration skills.
Non-negotiables:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2. 4+ years of experience in software development with a proven track record of contributing to successful projects.
3. Expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java Script, Typescript, Python, or Go. (Preference for Typescript)
4. Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script, Typescript) and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
5. Experience with AWS and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kuberne
6. Proven experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
