Job Title: Delivery Coordination Officer
Job Summary:
The Delivery Coordination Officer is responsible for planning, scheduling, and overseeing the efficient delivery of goods and services to customers. This role acts as the central point of contact between the company, delivery drivers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain delivery schedules and routes to optimize efficiency and minimize delivery times
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details, address changes, and special requests
- Assign and dispatch delivery drivers to specific routes and monitor their progress
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints regarding deliveries
- Analyze delivery data and provide reports on key performance metrics, such as on-time delivery rates, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall delivery experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to ensure a seamless delivery process
- Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, including tracking numbers, delivery times, and customer feedback
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to transportation and logistics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in a delivery coordination or logistics role
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in using logistics software, such as route planning and delivery tracking tools
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and industry best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address delivery challenges effectively
