Responsibilities
- Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified location in a timely manner
- Assisting with the loading and offloading of products and materials.
- Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
- Collect payments and issue receipts.
- Promptly inform the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
- Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing
- Keep the company vehicle clean and properly maintained
- Providing accurate time record of the company vehicle's coming and goings
- Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management.
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- 6+ years proven experience as a driver
- Valid Driver’s License and relevant Lagos State approved driving license
- Have Experience of Lagos Road network
- A clean driving record
- Familiarity with GPS device
- Knowledge of area roads and neighbourhood
- Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shift
- A polite and professional disposition; ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g at rush hour)
