Responsibilities:

• Analyzing existing operations, livestock, staff, and financial documents and recommending improvements.
• Preparing plans and schedules for feeding, breeding, kidding and ensuring staff understands expectations.
• Visiting the different divisions to inspect livestock and execute routine vaccinations.
• Ensuring minerals, supplements, pesticides, and other livestock supplies are regularly restocked
• Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery as may be required
• Handling the marketing and sale of products produced on the farm like goat kids, poultry, dairy, meat, and feeds.
• Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations on the farm.
• Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff members.
• Collaborating with executives to prepare budgets and financial reports.
• Building professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural science.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in animal science, or equivalent.
• Additional courses in business management or administration are recommended.
• Extensive experience in a farming-related field.
• Management experience would be a plus.
• A passion for agriculture.

Remuneration: NGN 80,000 - 120,000 Based on experience and proven competency.
