We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Tomato Farms Manager to oversee and manage our commercial tomato farm operations in Ogun State, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tomato cultivation, farm management, and agricultural best practices. The role requires a strong leader capable of optimizing crop yield.

- Oversee all aspects of tomato farming, from land preparation to harvesting, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Develop and implement cultivation techniques that maximize tomato yields, manage crop rotation, pest control, irrigation, and disease prevention strategies.
- Manage farm resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, ensuring optimal use and budget adherence.
- Supervise farm workers and staff, providing training, guidance, and performance management to ensure high productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor the growth and quality of the tomato crops, ensuring they meet market standards and company quality specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of farm activities, including crop yields, expenses, and inventory, to help inform decisions and optimize performance.
- Implement environmentally sustainable farming methods to improve soil health and water management, ensuring long-term productivity.
- Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and distribution of produce to markets.
- Ensure that the farm complies with all local farming regulations, safety standards, and environmental laws.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in tomato farming, with a proven track record of managing commercial-scale farm operations.
- Strong knowledge of tomato cultivation techniques, pest control, and irrigation systems.
- Ability to manage farm budgets, resources, and labor efficiently.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with sustainable agricultural practices and modern farming technologies.
Location Flexibility: Must be willing to work and reside in or near Ogun State.
