We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Logistics – West Africa to join our dynamic team at PIL. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in establishing and growing our new business segment focused on providing door-to-door logistics solutions across West Africa.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine intermodal logistics products for key clients, ensuring top-tier service delivery.
- Establish and maintain a dynamic sales funnel with a focus on high conversion rates.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer needs to provide effective, customized logistics solutions.
- Utilize financial modelling to maximize profit margins while controlling costs. Deliver superior service solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

- Demonstrated experience in leading a logistics company or a sales/operations department within the sector.
- Previous experience working in global logistics companies like DHL, Ceva Logistics, Bollore Logistics, or Damco Logistics.
- Deep knowledge of the West African logistics market.
- Strong leadership with a focus on business growth. High emotional intelligence and exceptional interpersonal skills.

- An extensive network of local customers, vendors, authorities, and service providers.
- Procurement best practices and ethical leadership.
- Strong communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation abilities.
