Instructs students in subject matter, utilizing education and experience in the Social Studies field. Lectures, demonstrates and creatively illustrates subject matter to the class, using approved textbooks and study guides. Prepare, administer, and correct assessments, and maintain records and grades in accordance with school standards and procedures. Maintains order in the classroom and school grounds. Discusses students and academic and behavioral performance with parents, recommending action when necessary. Provides guidance in choice of elective subjects. Assists in student extra-curricular activities. Inspires and encourages physical, mental and spiritual development of students to greatest potential. May teach a second or third subject in many locations. Valid teaching credential or equivalent Members will complete the normal training and orientation programs Minimum one (1) year teaching experience Previous multicultural experience helpful No record of child abuse or harassment, as defined by SIL policy. Valid teaching credential or equivalent. Minimum one (1) year teaching experience. International CHED orientation or equivalent as determined by the International CHED Consultant. Members will complete the normal training and orientation programs.
