Delon Jobs is seeking to hire an Infrastructure Manager for a leading insurance company in Nigeria. The successful candidate would manage, monitor and control all IT facilities, access and security equipment for our client. Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or related discipline. Experience required is 8 – 10 years management experience of an infrastructure team. Manage all IT facilities by:

• Ensuring availability of all required IT facilities.
• Provide access to the users of the facilities.
• Assist evaluation of user needs and facilities’ functionality.
• Monitor installation of new systems.
• Providing secure access to the network for all users.

Manage IT systems access:

• Ensure that the right people have the right access to the right systems.
• Ensuring that information is securely available to users.
• Ensuring all systems are protected from unauthorized access

Manage IT security:

• By ensuring protection of information and information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification or destruction

Infrastructure Planning:

• Produce a budget for maintenance and growth of the infrastructure in line with SLA's and forecasted growth
• Ensure that the infrastructure grows in accordance to the plan, while maintaining SLA and quality of service

Management Reporting:

• Determine criteria for acceptable Infrastructure performance
• Provide reports on Infrastructure performance
• Highlight any risks and issues and ensure implementation of mitigating action

Key Performance Areas:

• Provide timeous and consistent access to systems.
• Ensure the integrity of data produced by systems.
• Monitoring of performance of the IT Infrastructure.
• Satisfaction of both users and any service providers.
• Understanding of the financial implications of optimal functioning of IT Infrastructure.

Secondary Responsibilities:
SLA Management

• Maintain and update Internal and External SLAs.
• Maintain relationships with service providers.
• Keep abreast of technological Infrastructure advancement.

Key Performance Areas:

• Reports on Infrastructure are accurate and adequately analyses.
• Security procedures are adhered to by all users.
• Maintenance of KPIs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 8 – 10 years management experience of an infrastructure team.
• At least ITIL (v3) Practitioner level.
