About the Company: A renowned HR Boutique Consulting firm based in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Company is seeking to engage the service of an experienced Marketing Officer to plan and execute its regular annual Conference.
Role Objective: The Marketing Officer will lead all marketing, promotion, and public relations efforts for the conference. S/he will work to maximize attendee registrations, engage potential participants, and ensure the event gains media visibility.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy which Aligns with the overall conference goals and objectives.
• Manage all marketing channels: Oversee social media campaigns, email marketing, content creation, and traditional marketing channels.
• Create compelling promotional materials: Designing and producing high-quality marketing materials and advertisements.
• Coordinate with the Sponsorship team: Ensure sponsors are effectively integrated into the conference and their brand is well showcased.
• Analyze marketing performance: Track key metrics, such as website traffic and social media engagement to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
• Make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing efforts and maximize reach.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure that marketing initiatives align with the conference plan and timeline.
• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure cooperation.
• Provide post-event analysis and providing recommendations for future events.

Requirements:

• First Degree in Marketing, Communications, or any other related field.
• 3+ years of experience in event marketing or digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, social media management, and email marketing.
• Creative thinking and a keen eye for design and branding
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

KPIs:

• Number of registrations (target based on event goals).
• Social media engagement rates (increase by 20%).
• Conversion rate from website traffic (target 10%+).
• Press coverage and media mentions.
