Finwerd Flavours & Fragrances is a leading Dutch flavour house renowned for its beverage innovations. In 2024, we are set to launch the largest emulsion, compounds, and liquid flavour production facility in Africa, located in Lagos, Nigeria. This new state-of-the-art facility underscores our commitment to expanding our influence and market presence across West and Central Africa.

We are currently seeking a Sales Support Manager to join our dynamic team in Lagos. This role will play a crucial part in supporting our Commercial team by driving sustainable and profitable sales growth. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director in West Africa, the Sales Support Manager will also be a key communicator between the regional commercial centre in Lagos and the headquarters in the Netherlands, making cross-cultural communication a vital aspect of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Coordination:
- Understand sales objectives and translate them into manageable projects, ensuring clear communication of approved project plans to team members.
- Coordinate the availability of all necessary resources (such as benchmarks, bases, and oils for CI tests) at the Creative Center.
- Monitor and control project progress, ensuring alignment with the project plan and brief parameters.
- Facilitate networking and planning for sales-related projects.
- Manage logistics to ensure successful project delivery.
- Track projects from initiation through to closure, recording final outcomes in the project management system.
- Organize and facilitate customer visits and meetings, including preparing and distributing minutes.
- Provide support for Global Account Business and Innovation meetings.
- Support with booking customer orders and managing the process until fulfilment, ensuring a smooth end-to-end customer experience.
Account Strategy:
- Develop a deep understanding of the Global Account strategy and Finwerd team priorities.
- Build and maintain knowledge of account portfolios, activities, strategies, brands, markets, and decision-making processes.
Business Process Management & Systems:
- Ensure thorough understanding and efficient management of the sampling and shipping processes.
- Skillfully use Finwerd’s tools and systems, keeping all information current and in compliance with business standards.
- Lead and contribute to the identification, development, and rollout of best practices.
Reporting:
- Develop and maintain sales and project management summary reports for the Global Account team.
- Serve as a backup for the Account team.
Job Requirements:

Required Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sciences, or Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the industry with proven success.
- Fluent in Business English.
- Proficiency in computing tools (Excel, Power Point, Teams).
- Experience with CRM tools is mandatory.
- Experience in project management is an advantage.
- French language skills are desired but not mandatory.
