Job Description
- The Store Officer will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of IT products.
- This role is critical to maintaining the high standards our clients expect and ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management:Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring all items are correctly logged and stored.
- Receiving and Dispatching:Oversee the receiving of goods, ensuring all deliveries are checked against orders and discrepancies are reported. Coordinate the dispatch of goods, ensuring timely and accurate shipment.
- Team Coordination:Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient operations and assist in training new staff.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Implement and adhere to warehousing standards and procedures.
- Quality Control:Conduct regular inspections of inventory to ensure product quality and integrity.
- Data Entry:Accurately enter inventory data into the warehouse management system and generate reports as needed.
- Customer Service:Address client inquiries regarding inventory and shipments, providing excellent customer service.
- Education: Minimum Qualification HND
- Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience asa Store Officer in a warehouse or logistics organization, preferably within the IT sector.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Payingattention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items.
