Position Description:
You will be accountable for growing the Elanco pharmaceutical product business in the assigned territory - Central in Eastern Norway (Østlandet). Plan and implement territory activities necessary to achieve agreed sales target and market share objectives for defined products.
The portfolio consists of both established and well-known medications, as well as exciting new launches. The workdays are flexible and busy, with responsibility. Travel and overnight stays throughout the year are to be expected. Another part of the job involves participating in and organizing courses and seminars for veterinarians, which sometimes means working evenings and weekends.
You must be proactive, energetic, flexible, and action-oriented, with strong skills in building and maintaining relationships. You should be self-driven and enjoy a busy workday. You must be able to work independently but also be good at collaborating with the rest of the team. Since there will be four Account Managers responsible for different regions of Norway, you should live centrally in Eastern Norway. You will become part of a positive and successful team with extensive experience.

Functions, Duties, Task:
- Accountable for performing visits and activities according to yearly plan and targets,
- Fulfillment of yearly goals according to agreed plan for agreed time period,
- Execution of the planned activities for the territory on type and numbers of calls pr. day, call notes and call note quality, field days, targeted customer coverage pr. product etc. According to sales cycle, essential wins and targeted plans,
- Ensure that the CRM system is always updated on activities and accounts,
- Face to face meetings and virtual calls with the customers according to customer strategies and plans,
- Accountable for establishment and implementation of territory action plan, i.e. participate in development of district, business-plans together with Sales Manager,
- Secure implementation of product and customer strategies,
- Build-up, maintenance and expansion of brand loyal customer target groups,
- Increase the number of patients and veterinarians using Elanco brands,
- Focus activities on practitioners and other accounts according to segmentation and plan for your country,
- Active part in planning and implementation of Elanco symposia and other relevant customer meetings. Participate in relevant external meetings, exhibitions and customer events according to plan,
- Support relevant activities for key accounts and key opinion leaders when needed,
- Participate in country calls, sales meetings and other meetings according to local plan,
- Deliver feedback from the field concerning competitor activities, trends and other relevant data to Sales Manager and Marketing department,
- Keep focus and ensure good technical skills and good interaction with customers, and on innovative way to reach the vet customer, and ensure to give consistent promotional message,
- Some travel and overnight stays are to be expected, along with occasional work outside of regular hours, including weekends.
- Veterinarian or education in animal health, preferably with experience in clinical work,
- Fluency in English and Norwegian – written and verbal,
- Experienced with technical communication,
- Knowledge of workflow and different therapy areas in vet clinics,
- Basic IT knowledge.
- Good communicator and presenter,
- Well-developed planning skills,
- Knowledge of the vet. segment,
- Team player,
- Professional, consistent reliable and trustworthy.
