Key Account Manager - Norway

Sundström Safety AB was founded in 1926 and is a reputable and successful supplier of high-quality respiratory protection. The company is family owned and the business includes development, manufacture and sales of the products. The business has sales of approximately 400 million SEK and the products are marketed and sold in over 30 countries through well-established partnerships with distributors. The products are manufactured in our modern production facility in Lagan (Sweden). Sundström currently has 150 employees. Most employees work in Lagan, but sales organizations are in also Europe, Asia and the USA.
We are looking for:
A Key Account Manager to join our Nordic team, with a focus on our sales in the Norwegian market.
In this role, you’ll play a vital part in building strong relationships with our distributors, retailers, and end users. You’ll be joining a supportive Nordic Sales Team, which currently includes four Key Account Managers and a Sales Manager. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our Sales & Marketing department, which consists of 30 talented and motivated colleagues. Together, we work to achieve our sales goals in a cooperative and dynamic environment. The position reports to the Sales Manager Nordic.
This role offers flexibility and involves some travel, allowing you to explore different regions and connect with our customers directly.
Key responsibilities include:
The position requires relevant academic background and coursework related to the role. You need to have had a few years of experience in similar roles, ideally within the PPE industry, especially in respiratory protection.
Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written is required. Additional language skills are advantageous. You have confidence in using Office 365 and CRM systems to stay organized and efficient. You have the ability to build and develop business relationships, both internally and externally. You are professional combined with a goal-oriented, self-motivated, and service-minded approach. You have a collaborative spirit, strong communication skills, and comfort with digital tools like Teams, Zoom, and Qlikview.

- Visiting end users together with distributors and/or retailers to build and nurture relationships.
- Providing training and practical support to ensure our products are used effectively and safely.
- Offering technical support to customers, either directly or through our technical services team.
- Planning your activities and travels in a way that balances professional and personal needs.
- Maintaining and expanding our customer database using CRM systems.
- Participating in exhibitions and customer events, representing our brand with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Taking responsibility for sales and profitability within your assigned markets and/or customers.
- Collaborating with customers to create annual action plans and marketing strategies that align with their needs.
