From our Oslo office you will join Region Europe, a key region within Business Sweden that operates from 14 local offices outside Sweden across Europe. From Oslo, we work integrated within the global team at Business Sweden covering key projects within e.g. the battery value chain, semi-conductors, forest bioeconomy or the Team Sweden engagement at COP. The unique Business Sweden governmental and private sector mandate means that we work closely with the Swedish Embassies and Team Sweden actors across the globe. In Norway, we work closely with the Swedish Embassy, setting the promotional agenda for Sweden. In addition, we proudly work with several Swedish and Norwegian stakeholders to promote increased business opportunities. Business Sweden works with leading multinational companies, mid-corps and scale-ups across all industries, and our clients’ business is often driven by digitalisation, innovation, and sustainability. Our consultancy services include e.g. market entry & growth strategies including M&A, sales acceleration, tech scouting as well as Business to Government support.
As an associate at Business Sweden in Norway you will be working in project teams collecting, analysing, and presenting information and insights, which you will get from interactions with external stakeholders on the market. You will support senior colleagues in sales dialogues, by insight-driven development of new business opportunities as well as prospecting, and together with the team, develop customer value propositions. We expect that you enjoy driving own initiatives as well as team work as the role comes with a high degree of freedom and responsibility.

What do we expect from you?
To help us further grow in these areas, we are currently looking to expand the team with a driven and ambitious associate based in or ready to relocate to Oslo. You are interested in a fast-paced environment, a steep learning curve and to work in a dedicated team supporting Swedish clients in their growth journey in Norway, Europe and globally. You are accountable and collaborate effectively to achieve good results with a positive can-do attitude. You voice your own ideas and share opinions and show appreciation for different perspectives. A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and responsibility is necessary, from projects to our day-to-day operations.
Formal requirements

• An academic degree, preferably Master of science in Business / Engineering or equivalent.
• Recent university degree or 1-2 years of relevant working experience e.g. consulting, business development, internationalisation.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
• High level of proficiency in English and Swedish or Norwegian

Desired experience and skills

• Experience from living/working abroad, outside Sweden and Norway
• Proficiency in a third language is meriting
