About the job
It is an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue to build upon our successful history of wireless innovation. We are looking for talented, experienced developers with strong expertise in embedded SW development, architecture and verification, to join our world-leading cross functional teams to further develop our Bluetooth protocol stack.
We work in teams following agile methodologies. You will have the opportunity to be working in close co-operation with leading customers worldwide and take part in interoperability sessions with other system vendors and Bluetooth SIG standardization work. Based on your expertise, you will focus more either on Bluetooth protocol architecture design and stack implementation, or on verification & validation of the Bluetooth stack quality.

Key responsibilities
- Analyzing new Bluetooth specification features to design and implement Bluetooth protocol stack, or design and implement automated test cases
- Developing and maintaining a fully automated solution to efficiently test every change in the continuous integration pipeline and identify issues as early as possible
- Debug and analyze protocol issues in the bare-metal or RTOS environment Actively participating in scrum meetings, i.e., planning, daily sync meeting and retrospective meetings, to improve the team maturity
Key Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybernetics or similar
- Experience with embedded software design, development and testing
- Strong programming skills in C/C++

Desirable experience and skills in some of these areas:
- Embedded real-time operating systems
- Wireless protocols and applications
- Ultra-low power implementation
- ARM Cortex or similar micro-controllers
- Device drivers for hardware such as UART, SPI, timers, or NVM.
- Test framework development and automation
- The ability to navigate in a global matrix organization Good written and verbal communication skills in English
