It is an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue to build upon our successful history of wireless innovation. We are seeking an experienced professional with a solid background in semiconductor package reliability to render operational our board level reliability lab. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Board Level Reliability (BLR) testing and the ability to interpret results to drive product improvements. You will collaborate both with R&D, Supply Chain and the FA-lab with the goal of providing value to our customers and future innovations.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a solid background in semiconductor package reliability to render operational our board level reliability lab. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Board Level Reliability (BLR) testing and the ability to interpret results to drive product improvements. You will collaborate both with R&D, Supply Chain and the FA-lab with the goal of providing value to our customers and future innovations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform and interpret Board Level Reliability (BLR) tests, including Mechanical Shock, Thermal Cycling, Bending tests, Vibration, and THD.
- Analyze test results and provide reports for product optimization.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve reliability.
- Manage and execute tests using relevant reliability test equipment.
- Develop and document test procedures in line with industry standards.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Material Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven expertise in semiconductor package reliability, especially WLSCP and similar.
- Strong experience with BLR testing and test data interpretation.
- Familiarity with reliability testing equipment and creating test protocols.
- The ability to navigate in a global matrix organization Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications – nice to have:
- Thermo-mechanical simulation experience is an advantage.
- Programming experience with Lab VIEW.
- Wafer-level reliability (WLR) experience is a plus
